ATTACHING THE TAIL UNIT

For reasons of transportation the tail assembly is not
mounted when supplied.
Only the two pins of the hinged joint need to be glued
in on the vertical tail fin. Apply the adhesive supplied
with the kit for the glued joint taking great care to
ensure that no adhesive gets onto the joint itself and
therefore slightly oiling the hinge in the joint so that it
remains mobile.
The tailplane is placed on the fuselage and screwed
to the fuselage using the screws supplied in the kit.
Tighten the screws with carefully. Push the Bowden
cables of the aileron system through the holes of the
carriers. Only tighten the grub screws in the carrier
when the remote controller is ready for operation and
the associated joystick as well as the appropriate
trimming are in the neutral position.
Check that the tail assembly functions by operating
the transmitter.
If horizontal and vertical are reversed on the
transmitter, pull the plugs in channels 1 and 2 out
and plug them back in the opposite way round.
ASSEMBLING THE WINGS
The wings of the MINIMOA are removable for
transport. They are held in the characteristic shape
by the wing's aluminium connecting spar. The wing
attachment plate also strengthens the joint.
