Noises

When using an induction cooking zone, the following noises
can occur in the pan, depending on what it is made of and
how it has been constructed.
– On the higher power settings, it might buzz. This will
decrease or cease altogether when the power setting is
reduced.
– If the pan base is made of layers of different materials (e.g.
in a sandwiched base), it might emit a cracking sound.
– Whistling might occur if linked zones (see "Booster") are
being used at the same time, and the pans also have
bases made of layers of different materials.
– You might hear a clicking sound from the electronic
switches, especially on lower power settings.
– You might hear a whirring sound when the cooling fan
switches on. It switches on to protect the electronics when
the cooktop is being used intensively. The fan may
continue to run after the appliance has been switched off.
