The
[TONE
J
(*)
button
is
used
for rotary
pulse
dial
services
and
allows
you
to
temporarily
change
from
pulse
to
tone
mode
during
a
dialing
operation.
When
you hang
up,
the
unit
will
automatically
return to
pulse
mode.
Entering
pauses
When
the
(REDIAUPAUSE
)
button
is
pressed
during
dialing,
a
pause
w
ill
be
inserted.
Pressing
(REDIAL/PAUSE)
once
creates
a 5 second pause.
Example
1:
If
your
unit
is
connected
to
a
host
exchange,
insert
a
pause
to
get
an
outside
line.
