Setting the Sensitivity

You can select the sensitivity to suit the brightness of the surroundings.
Sensitivity
When the flash does not discharge: The camera automatically selects the
sensitivity from 50, 100, and 200.
When the flash discharges: The camera automatically selects the
Auto
sensitivity from 50, 100, 200, and 400.
In Candlelight mode, the camera automatically selects the sensitivity from
50, 100, 200, 400, and 800 regardless of flash or no flash.
• The lower the sensitivity (the lower values), the sharper the image and

the less noise. The shutter speed will be slower in low light conditions.

• The higher the sensitivity (the higher values), the faster the shutter

speed in low light conditions to reduce camera shake, but the image

may be affected by noise.

Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Sensitivity].
