GENERAL INFORMATION Thank you for having chosen a PROEL product. MLX2842 and MLX3642 are large format mixers combining a large number of channels with a full set of features designed to fit any professional sound reinforcement application. The 20 or 28 MONO input channels feature ultra-low noise, high-headroom preamps, able to capture the full range of any instrument. - Page 14 Tip = send signal Ring = return signal Sleeve = shield or ground 6. DIRECT OUT output This is where you connect a multitrack recorder or DAW system. This output is low-impedance (150 ohms), capable of driving any line-level device. The signal sent is picked up after the channel fader. 7.
- Page 15 23. AUX 3-4 POST/PRE switch This switch sets the AUX 3 and AUX 4 control sends as post or pre fader. As post the signal level depends on the position of the channel FADER, as pre it is independent. The pre-fader setting is preferable if you want to use the AUX send as stage monitor, in order to have your stage mix independent from MAIN MIX.

You can use the GROUPS 1-2 as separate outputs or, engaging the correspondent MAIN MIX switch, to create a submix for a set of channels (all the drums channels, for instance): in this case you can control the assigned GROUPS 1-2 signals together and independently from the rest of the mix.

SOLO indicator If the SOLO LED lights this means that you have activated the SOLO switch of this channel. 114. SOLO switch This switch allows you to hear the signals of AUX output through your headphones or control room outputs and to display the level on LED meters.

MAIN BAL control It adjusts the amount of MAIN MIX signal sent to the left versus the right outputs, usually left centered can be used to check the audio system connection at the beginning of the sound check.

PROEL suggested types is USBLL02 (off/single/dual intensity switch, bright white LED) . 153. INFORMAZIONI GENERALI Grazie per aver scelto un prodotto PROEL. MLX2842 e MLX3642 sono mixer di grande formato dotati di un gran numero di canali e di una dotazione completa di funzioni, adatti ad applicazioni professionali di sonorizzazione. I 20 o 28 canali di ingresso MONO dispongono di preamplificatori a basso rumore e alta dinamica, capaci di catturarer ogni sfumatura di qualsiasi strumento. - Page 26 è terminato come segue: Tip (punta) = segnale mandata (send) Ring (anello) = segnale ritorno (return) Sleeve (manicotto) = schermo o massa 6. DIRECT OUT (uscita diretta) Qui è dove collegare un registratore multitraccia o sistema DAW. Questa uscita è a bassa impedenza (150 ohm), in grado di pilotare qualsiasi dispositivo a livello linea.
- Page 27 23. AUX 3-4 POST/PRE (tasto post o pre fader) A tasto premuto si impostano i controlli AUX 3 e 4 come pre-fader, a tasto sollevato si impostano come post-fader. L'impostazione PRE è quella consigliata se si intendono usare le mandate AUX con i monitor di palco, per avere i missaggi di palco indipendenti dal MAIN MIX.
- Page 28 38. LINE R (ingresso linea R) È un connettore da ¼” (6.3mm) tipo jack, in grado di accettare un segnale a livello linea bilanciato o sbilanciato da ogni tipo di sorgente. È usato solo in presenza del jack LINE L per usare il canale in modalità STEREO. 39.

NOTA: il segnale di ingresso del canale non è completamente silenziato da questo tasto e può essere ancora ascoltato attraverso le uscite PHONES e MONITOR azionando il tasto SOLO in modalità PFL (vedi SOLO MODE). 59.
