    EQM 100 / EQM 101 / EQM 102 Edge-QAM General Description Edge-QAM EQM 100 is able to feed 24 QAM channels for additional services into distribution networks near the edge of the subscribers. For smaller networks the EQM 102 with 16 channels or the EQM 102 with 8 channels can be chosen.

    EQM 100 / EQM 101 / EQM 102 Edge-QAM Reset After a restart or reset the EQM 10x is operating again after approx. 7 sec. All parameters are stored and the device will start with the last configuration. Signalling during restart: 1.

    The default IP address for configuration is 192.168.200.20. Please keep in mind that you have to configure e.g. for the EQM 100 with 3 IP interfaces also three components. If you connect your browser with the IP-address 192.168.200.20 the following menu appears: Fig.

QAM mode, symbol rate, center frequency and RF level is valid for a group of 4 QAM channels. Although grouped together each channel can be switched off individually.

Fig. 10: Configuration NIT Processing The NIT menu allows the configuration of the NIT (Network Information Table) processing. If it is necessary to insert a new NIT into the transport stream the Edge QAM is able to receive a new NIT over the IP network and to replace it with the already existing NIT in the transport stream.
