Turning Off the Camera During Remote Photography
The buttons of the camera are disabled during remote photography with the SnapBridge
360/170 app. To turn off the camera, exit remote photography.

Pairing with a Smartphone or Tablet

Here, pairing refers to the setting used to connect the camera and smartphone or
tablet (below, "smart device") through Bluetooth.
The smart device screen and buttons may differ from the actual screen.

Preparing for Pairing

Prepare for pairing in advance.
Camera
Press and hold the movie button for about 3 seconds to turn it off (A10). When
the camera turns off, the power-on lamp turns off. The camera cannot enter pairing
standby mode when the camera is on.
Use a sufficiently charged battery so that the camera does not turn off during the
procedure.
Turn off the airplane mode switch (A2). You cannot pair when it is on.
Insert a memory card with sufficient free space.
Disconnect the HDMI cable or USB cable.
Smart Device
Two types of apps are available: "SnapBridge" and "SnapBridge 360/170".
Use "SnapBridge 360/170" when pairing with this camera.
Start pairing when preparations are complete.
The pairing procedure varies depending on how you use the camera. Proceed from
"Initial Pairing" (A12) or "Re-pairing" (A16).
