• Make sure that the power socket is permanently and easily accessible and sheltered from rain and splashing water. • The control box must not be installed in a floodable area. • Install the control box at least 3.5 meters from the pool edge and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight. Preferably in a cool, ventilated and shaded area. • Do not allow bathing when the cleaner is in the pool. If the control box falls into the water it is imperative that you remove the power supply before retrieving it. • In order to avoid risks of electrocution never open the electronic control box. Contact a qualified technician. • Never attempt to repair the power supply cable. Contact your reseller to replace it with an original part to avoid any hazards. • Disconnect the power supply cable before any cleaning, maintenance or service operations and after each use. • The cleaner must operate in pool water having the following characteristics: Chlorine < 3 mg/l, pH between 6.8 and 7.6, temperature between 15°C and 35°C. Do not operate the cleaner out of the water. Incorrect installation or use may cause serious damage to property or serious injuries (possibly causing death). Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. WARNING ON THE USE OF THIS CLEANER IN A POOL WITH A VINYL SURFACE The surface of certain vinyl patterned surfaces can wear rapidly and the patterns disappear on contact from objects such as cleaning brushes, toys, inflatable buoys, chlorine distributors and automatic pool cleaners. The decoration on some vinyl surfaces can be scratched or worn by basic friction such as through the use of a pool brush. The colours of certain patterns can also be erased during use or when in contact with objects in the pool. USE 3.1. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE • Use your cleaner as often as possible. You will benefit from a pool that is always clean and the filter will clog more slowly. • The cleaner must operate in pool water having the following characteristics: Chlorine < 2 mg/l, pH between 6.8 and 7.6, temperature between 10°C and 35°C. • Do not use your cleaner during shock chlorination. • You can start the pool filtering when the cleaner is operating in order to improve the general pool cleaning. • Clean the filter after each cleaning programme. • Never leave the cleaner in the water permanently. • At the end of each cycle remove the cleaner from the pool. Before stowing the cleaner unravel the cable starting from the cleaner. 3.2. IMMERSING THE CLEANER Once the cleaner is immersed, let it sink and settle on the pool bottom on its own. ...
The cleaner is fitted with a safety device that automatically switches off the cleaner if it starts outside the water. For pools with an immersed beach, this system makes it possible for the cleaner to make a 180° turn to return into the water. 3.5. REMOVAL FROM THE POOL • At the end of the cleaning cycle the cleaner stops and the light on the control unit stays on for approximately 15 minutes. This period is the time that the motor needs to cool and therefore avoids damage to the cleaner. • When the indicator is turned off, gently pull on the floating cable to approach the cleaner to the side of the pool (1). • Only lift the cleaner from the water using the handle (2). • Let the water drain away by keeping the cleaner vertical. • Disconnect the electric plug from the control unit and disconnect the control unit cable. • At the end of each cycle, roll the cable starting from the cleaner towards the connector. Make ...
Contact your reseller for information on the available types of filter. 4.3. CHANGING THE BRUSH The cleaner is fitted with a PVC brush with a wear indicator. In order to maintain the efficiency of your cleaner you should replace the brush as soon as the wear indicator is reached (even if the roller is not damaged). • Overturn the cleaner to access the brush • Push the arm of the brush in order to remove the shaft from its housing (1). • Lift the brush and remove it from the cleaner (2). • Place the shaft of the new brush in its housing. ...

5.4. The cleaner produces a jet of water but does not move • Remove the wheels. • Check that no debris is stuck in the wheel cogs; remove any debris found. • Start‐up the cleaner and check that the cogs turn before the cleaner stops. 5.5. The cleaner moves up to the water line and sucks in air • Carry out the steps in chapter 3.3 and check that the problem is solved. If the problem persists, remove the cleaner cover, then remove the 2 screws that maintain the plate (fitted with hinges) that fix it to the cleaner. Remove the plate. • Remove the polystyrene floater and then fit the plate with the hinges. Fit the filter and then the cover onto the cleaner and check that the problem is solved. 5.6. Right turn is not efficient • The right turn is the first rotation of the cleaner at the beginning of the cycle. It can therefore be checked during the first minute of the appliance's operation. If the cleaner does not turn, check that the small stirrup under the cleaner pivots freely and remove any debris that might be blocking it. ...
