Fusing Process (Step 6)

• The Fusing Unit consists of the Fusing Roller and the Fusing Roller/rt.
• The Fusing Roller is provided with two Fusing Heater Lamps, thereby shortening the
time required for warming-up and saving energy.
• The main heater, or the Fusing Roller Heater Lamp, heats the center of the Fusing
Roller. The sub heater, or the Fusing Roller Sub Heater Lamp, on the other hand, heats
both end portions of the Fusing Roller. The Fusing Roller Thermistor located at the cen-
tral portion controls the Fusing Roller Heater Lamp. The Fusing Roller Sub Thermistor
located in the rear control the Fusing Roller Sub Heater Lamp.
