Transceiver module does not support digital
diagnosis

Symptom

The output from the display transceiver diagnosis interface command shows that the transceiver module
does not support the digital diagnosis function.

The transceiver does not support this function.
Execute the display transceiver register interface command for Release 22xx and execute
the display hardware internal transceiver register interface command in probe view for
Release 2307 and later versions to save the transceiver module information.
Provide the information to HP Support to verify that the transceiver module is an HP
transceiver module. If it is not, replace it with an HP transceiver module.
