4. Alignment and Troubleshooting
In Tray
1) Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight
out.

Inside the machine

NOTE
• The fuser area is hot. Take care when removing paper
from the machine.
• Before opening the top cover, close the output tray first.
1) Open the top cover.
2) Open the jam cover.

3) Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight
out.
If you do not see the paper in this area, stop and go to
next step.
4) Open the middle cover.
