the start of projection

When the brightness and picture quality has deteriorated below the initial
levels
Point
· Replace the lamp when it will not light up even if it is not time for replacement.
· The replacement message will be displayed after approximately 1,400 hours of use in
order to maintain the original brightness and picture quality. Using the lamp past the end
of the replacement period will increase the chances of it bursting. Replace the lamp with a
new one immediately after the replacement message is displayed, even if it appears to
work properly.
· The replacement message has been set at approximately 1,400 hours of use in order to
maintain the initial brightness levels and picture quality. Although the replacement mes-
sage is displayed after approximately 1,400 of use, there are cases where the individual
characteristics of each lamp and other usage conditions result in it not lighting up before
this 1,400 hours has elapsed. For this reason, always prepare a replacement lamp well in
advance.
· Contact your dealer for a spare lamp.
If the lamp should break, handle the shards very carefully to avoid injury, and contact your
dealer or your nearest address provided at "International Warranty Conditions" in "Safety
Instructions/World-Wide Warranty Terms" included in the package to request repairs.
