Section 3 - Configuration
This page lets you configure the settings for the DAP-1860's extended wireless network. To access this page, click the Settings drop-
down menu at the top of the page, and select Extender. Click Save to apply the settings and return to the home page.
Existing Select whether you want to connect the DAP-1860 to an existing Ethernet
Network: or Wi-Fi network.
Smart Enable or disable Smart Connect by toggling this slider. Disable to
Connect: individually configure the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks.
If Smart Connect is Enabled:
Status: Enable or disable the extended Wi-Fi network by toggling this slider.
Wi-Fi Name This is the name of the DAP-1860's extended network. If using Wi-Fi, the
(SSID): DAP-1860 will rebroadcast the uplink router's Internet connection under this
SSID. You may also manually set the SSID of the extended network.
Password: Enter the password or network key that you wish to use for the extended
network.
