Instructions for Use

Your Pressure Cooker allows you at the touch of a button to create
delicious meals in a fraction of the time it would take on the stove top or in
a slow cooker.The pre-programmed settings mean that you don't have to
adjust time or pressure levels as the unit does it all for you.This type of cooking
is one pot cooking,instead of using lots of pots and pans,all preparation can be
carried out in one pot,you can brown meat and caramelise vegetables,
this not only easier but saves on the washing up!
Sautéing and Searing
It is possible to sauté vegetables or sear meat prior to cooking.Although this is
not strictly necessary and make take a little longer, the end results are often
better as browning meat and caramelising vegetables seals in moisture and
adds a great deal of f avour to the f nished meal.
1.
Insert the power cord into the Pressure Cooker base and insert the plug
into the socket.A single beep will sound and 0000 will be displayed.
2.
Insert the condensation collector onto the side
of the unit and secure into place.
3.
Always make sure that the lid is removed from
the Pressure Cooker before sautéing or
searing,and remains off.
4.
Press the Long Cooking function button,
the LED will now show P58
5.
The unit will now begin to heat up.
6.
Add a small amount of oil or butter to the
cooking pot.Take care when food is added
as hot oil may splatter.
7.
Place food to be sautéed/seared into the
cooking pot,if cooking a large batch of
meat,this should be done in small batches.
Make sure you stir food with heat resistant,
non-scratch utensils.
8.
The thermostat inside the unit will click on and
off during cooking to maintain temperature this
is normal.
9.
When finished sautéing or searing,press the
cancel button.
