2 Determine the Bluetooth COM Port
You need to identify the COM Port used to create a serial port connection between the Pocket PC and the Bluetooth
GPS receiver.
Instructions for Bluetooth Manager version 1.3.1/1.4.1
2.1 From the START
menu, tap TODAY,
then tap the Bluetooth
icon located in the
lower right corner of
the TODAY screen,
then select the
SERIAL PORT tab.
Tip: Ensure the
AUTHENTICATION
(PASS KEY) IS
REQUIRED
tick box is NOT selected.
If the Passkey cannot be
disabled, the Passkey is
"NAVMAN".
2.2 Please note the OUTBOUND COM PORT setting as you will need to select this COM Port in your third party
software to receive the GPS data from the Bluetooth GPS receiver. This outbound COM Port is used by the Navman
GPS receiver to send the GPS data to the Pocket PC.

2.1 From the
START menu, tap
the BLUETOOTH
MANAGER menu
item, then TOOLS,
SETTINGS FOR ALL
DEVICES, then select
the SERIAL PORT
tab.
Tip: Ensure the PASS
KEY IS REQUIRED
tick box is NOT selected.
If the Passkey cannot be
disabled, the Passkey is
"NAVMAN".
