DAB
Problem
Cannot tune into any DAB
services.
The INIT SCAN operation
was not successful, and "Not
Available" appears in the
front panel display.
The DAB service reception is
weak.
There is noise interference
(e.g. hiss or crackle)

the DAB registry list needs to be updated.
There may be no DAB coverage in your
area.
The DAB signals are weak.
The DAB antenna may not be connected.

The position of the indoor DAB antenna
and/or this unit is not optimal for DAB
reception.

The indoor DAB antenna needs to be
repositioned.

Cause
This unit is in the middle of recognizing
the connection with your iPod.
This unit is in the middle of acquiring the
song lists from your iPod.

Your iPod is removed from the Yamaha

listing of the DAB coverage in your area.
Use a commercially available high-quality
outdoor DAB antenna.
Make sure that the DAB antenna is firmly
connected.
Use a commercially available high-quality
outdoor DAB antenna.
Use TUNE AID to locate the best location
of the indoor DAB antenna and this unit for
optimal DAB reception.

Remedy
Turn off this unit and reconnect the Yamaha iPod

dock.
Check the playability of the files stored on your iPod.
