Cooling

Air flows through the A-MSR20 from left to right, as shown in
Figure 7 A-MSR20 ventilation
To prevent overheating:
Provide adequate clearance for air flow.
Provide at least 10 cm [3.94 in] ventilation space around the router's air intake and outlet vents.
For heat dissipation and device maintenance, the front and rear of the rack should be at least
0.8 m (2.62 ft) away from walls or other devices.
The equipment room ceiling height should be no less than 3 m (9.84 ft).
Make sure the site has an adequate cooling system.

Lightning protection

To protect the router from lightning:
Make sure the grounding cable of the chassis is grounded properly.
Make sure the grounding terminal of the AC power receptacle is grounded properly.
Install a lightning arrester at the input end of the power supply.
Install a lightning arrester at the input end of outdoor signal lines (for example, E1/T1 line) to which
the router's interface modules are connected.
