No terminal display

If the console terminal displays nothing when the router is powered on, follow these steps:
Check the following items:
1.
The power supply system is working properly.
The console cable is connected properly.
If no problem is found, it may be due to one of the following:
2.
The console cable is connected to a serial port other than the one configured on the console
terminal.
The properties of the console terminal are incorrect. You must configure the console terminal as
follows: set Bits per second to 9600, Data bits to 8, Parity to None, Stop bits to 1, Flow control
to None, and Terminal Emulation to VT100.
The console cable is faulty.

Garbled terminal display

If the terminal display is garbled, make sure the Data bits field is set to 8 for the console terminal. If the
Data bits field is set to 5 or 6, the console terminal will display garbled text.

No response from the serial port

If the serial port does not respond, verify that the serial cable is in good condition and the serial port
settings are correct.

Password loss

User password loss

If you lose the user password, you cannot log in to the system. If this happens, you can reboot the system
and bypass the current system configuration.
To recover from user password loss:
On the main BootWare menu, select 6 to boot the system and bypass the current system

configuration.
The system displays the following:
Flag Set Success.
When the main BootWare menu reappears, select 0 to reboot the system.

System is rebooting now.
System start booting...
Booting Normal Extend BootWare....
After the system reboots, set a new password in system view.
3.
The console port uses password authentication, and the password is set to 123456 and stored in
plain text.
