4.3.3.
DDE Request
The DDE Request is a message exchange to obtain the value of a specified item. Only two items
are defined for DDE request up to now: RANGE and DATA. The value is obtained as an ASCII
string, i.e. it must be converted by the client to get the numbers. All other parameters concerning
the WEBMCA Setup can be obtained by the client application by reading and evaluating the
configuration file.
RANGE
The RANGE item can be used to obtain the total number of data in the actual multichannel
analyzer. The desired multichannel analyzer can be selected before by a command MC_A, ...,
MC_D (if more than 1).
