Flash Settings

To adjust settings for a fl ash unit mounted on the hot
shoe or connected via the sync terminal:
1 Connect the unit to the camera.

In shooting mode, select FLASH
FUNCTION SETTING in the F
(FLASH SETTING) menu tab.
The options available vary with
the fl ash unit.
Menu Menu
Available with units connected via the sync
SYNC terminal and with third-party and other units
TERMINAL that use only the X-contact on the hot shoe.
Also displayed if no fl ash unit is connected.
SUPPLIED Displayed when the supplied EF-X8 fl ash unit
FLASH is mounted on the hot shoe and raised.
SHOE
Displayed when an optional fl ash unit is
MOUNT
mounted on the hot shoe and turned on.
FLASH
Displayed if an optional fl ash unit functioning as
MASTER
a master fl ash for FUJIFILM optical wireless re-
(OPTICAL)
mote fl ash control is connected and turned on.
O
SYNC TERMINAL will be also displayed if the EF-X8
is attached but not raised.
