Recording your own greeting messages

The recording time is limited to 16 seconds for the TEL/FAX greeting message. Record your message within
12 seconds for best performance.
You can choose either 16 seconds or 60 seconds of recording time for the TAD/FAX greeting message (p. 100).

Note:
If you do not record any messages, the pre-recorded messages will be played (p. 84, 97).

Make sure that the AUTO ANSWER setting is set to
the desired mode (TAD/FAX or TEL/FAX mode)
where you want to record a greeting message (p. 79).
2 Press RECORD two times.
The display will show one of the following
according to your selection in step 1.
