Turning Off the Vehicle
1.
Remove the vehicle body.
2.
Using a Losi
tuning screwdriver (LOSA99167), pinch the fuel line.
®
3.
Power off the receiver.
4.
Power off the transmitter.
WARNING: Do not touch the exhaust, as it can become extremely hot
during use.

ENGINE DOES NOT START
ENGINE STARTS THEN STALLS
ENGINE IS RUNNING, BUT VEHICLE DOES NOT MOVE

Possible Cause
Out of fuel
Engine flooded
Air filter is clogged
Fuel is old or bad
Glow plug is not working
Throttle servo failed/Setup is wrong
Carburetor is incorrectly adjusted
Piston and cylinder is worn
Out of fuel
Air filter is clogged
Engine may be overheated
Engine idle is too low
Carburetor is incorrectly adjusted
Clutch is slipping or locked-up
Fuel is old or bad
Brakes are stuck
Drivetrain is damaged
Receiver battery capacity is low
Radio is not responding despite charged battery
Throttle servo is improperly set up
Drivetrain is not functioning properly
Transmitter and/or receiver batteries are weak
Connectors are inserted improperly
Brake is not working
The throttle channel was reversed after calibration
The steering channel was reversed after calibration

Solution
Refill the tank and follow starting instructions
Review Glow Plug Test
Check and replace if necessary
Use new fuel
Review Glow Plug Test
Check servo operation. Set it to neutral and reset the linkage according
to your radio and model manufacturer's specifications
Return the carburetor to the factory settings and retune if necessary
Check the piston and cylinder for wear or damage and replace if necessary
Refill the tank and follow starting instructions
Check and replace if necessary
Let the engine cool. Richen the high speed needle
Follow the instructions to increase idle speed
Return the carburetor to the factory settings and retune if necessary
Check the clutch for worn/broken shoe or spring. Also check clutch
bearings and ensure free rotation
Use new fuel
Look for damage or foreign matter locking the brakes
Check for damaged driveshaft or diff. Replace as needed
Charge the receiver battery
Make sure binding is properly set up
Set the servo to neutral and reset the linkage according to radio and model
manufacturer's specifications
Check the drivetrain for smooth operation/damage
Install new batteries in the transmitter. Recharge the receiver battery
Check the connectors and reinstall if necessary
Check the servo, brakes, and linkage for damage. Repair/replace/reset
the servo linkage to factory settings
