error codes

Steady green: the scanner is scanning.
Fast flashing green: waiting for operator action.
Slow flashing green: the scanner is in power saver mode.
Steady red: indicates a scanner error, such as the scanner cover is open.
Steady red then flashing green: scanner is powering up.
After you power up the scanner, the red and green indicator lights flash. After
approximately 12 seconds, both lights go out. When the green indicator light is
steady, the scanner is ready to begin scanning. However, the host computer
may require several seconds to detect the scanner.

Ink cartridge missing.
Document too long.
Scanner cover open.
• Too much paper is in the input tray.
• The feed module is not inserted properly.
Multifeed paused; waiting for user input.
Multifeed stop.
Document jam or the paper path is
blocked.
Calibration failed. Try the calibration again.
If it fails again, call Service.
USB disconnect while active. Rescan
documents.
Timeout. Rescan documents.
USB speed is not supported. Be sure you
are using a USB 2.0 (or higher) connection.
USB events over threshold. Rescan
documents.
Image capture already started. Rescan
documents.
Image footer is missing. Rescan
documents.
• Be sure all cables are connected properly
• Turn power off and then on again
If problem persists, call Service.
