Remote Function

You can make calls from remote location to play back messages or retrieve from memory. To use this
function, you must use tone dialling.
The remote control password is required for remote control operations. Make sure the password is already
registered. (See page 57)
Also, make sure that your apparatus is set to either FAX/TEL or FAX TAM modes. (See pages 41 and 43)

About Remote Function

Make the call from an outside telephone.
While you are hearing the OGM,
Enter the remote control password (4 digits).
Enter the remote control code within 10 seconds for desired operation.
1. When playing back messages, press [#] before ending the call.
2. The call will be cut off if the remote control password is not entered within 10 seconds at step 4.
3. To cancel the current remote control operation or if some trouble occurs, press [#]. Resume
operation from step 6.
4. If you use mobile telephone, this function may not work correctly due to line quality.
