Operating your accessory in conventional (non-Command) mode

aunch your helicopter by pressing the launch button that you connected in steps five and
six of the previous section.
Wiring your Heliport with an SC-1 Switch and Accessory Controller for
TrainMaster Command Control Operation
Y
our Heliport can be used in the
TrainMaster Command Control environ-
ment. To wire your Lionel Heliport with an
SC-1, follow these steps. Figure 2 illustrates
the following procedure.
1. Attach one wire to the "U" terminal on
your transformer or power supply.
2. Connect this wire to one of the spring
clips under the TRANSFORMER CLIPS
label at the bottom of the accessory.
3. Attach another wire to the "A" terminal
on your transformer or power supply.
4. Connect this wire to the other spring clip
under the TRANSFORMER CLIPS label at
the bottom of the accessory.

5. Attach another wire to the SC-1 unit's
AUX1, position 1 (or next available posi-
tion) terminal.
6. Connect this wire to one of the spring
clips under the TRIGGER SWITCH label
at the bottom of the Heliport.
7. Attach another wire to the center
(ground) screw on your SC-1 unit.
8. Connect this wire to the other spring clip
under the TRIGGER SWITCH label at the
bottom of the Heliport.
At this point, you have supplied power to
the accessory and wired the control button.
Refer to your SC-1 instructions for addition-
al information.
