Location of the UltraConnect wireless antennas

ThinkPad notebook computers feature an UltraConnect™ wireless antenna system built into the display for
optimal reception, which enables you to establish wireless communications wherever you are.
Note: Depending on the model, your computer might look different from the following illustration.

Wireless interoperability
The wireless LAN card is designed to be interoperable with any wireless LAN product that is based on DSSS,
CCK, and/or OFDM radio technology, and is compliant to:
• The 802.11b/g Standard, 802.11a/b/g, 802.11n, or, 802.11ac on Wireless LANs, as defined and approved
by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
• The WiFi certification as defined by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
A Bluetooth device is designed to be interoperable with any Bluetooth product that is compliant to Bluetooth
Specification 4.0 as defined by the Bluetooth SIG. The following profiles are supported by the Bluetooth
devices:
