There are four indicator lights on the front of the scanner.

Ready
Jam
Error
On
Power
Electrical power

is on (normal
operation)

Scanner is ready

Not a valid state
(Yellow)
Error
A failure or

multifeed has
occurred
NOTE: If the red light is on or flashing, check the error log in the
Diagnostic Software.

Electrical power
