Manage SIM card messages: Select this option to manage messages stored

on your SIM card.
Group messaging: Select On to enable group messages.

Auto-retrieve: Select On to automatically retrieve messages.

MMS Creation mode: Select Restricted if you want to restrict the

specifications of the file you can send as an attachment.
Notifications: Select to configure how notify you when a new message is

received.
 Notifications: Select On to display the notification screen.
 Choose ringtone: Select a ringtone for new messages.
 Vibrate: Select Always to vibrate the phone.

Emergency Alerts

Your phone is compatible with federally supervised cell phone alert services which send out
broadcast SMS messages for public warning.

View an Emergency Alert

► If you have an Emergency Alert notification, press View (center softkey) on the
notification screen to open and read it.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Messaging.
2. Select Emergency Alerts.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Messaging.
2. Select Emergency Alerts.
3. Configure the following settings:
● Emergency Alerts: Check the box next to the type of Emergency Alert you wish to
receive.
