To turn on Emergency SOS:
1. From the Safety & emergency screen, tap Emergency SOS.
2. Tap the Use Emergency SOS on/off icon.

Tap Play countdown alarm on/off icon to turn it on or off. When enabled, your
phone will play a loud sound when Emergency SOS is starting.

Tap Call for help to change the number to call for help.
To use Emergency SOS in an emergency situation:
IMPORTANT: Emergency SOS may not work in airplane mode.
1. On your phone, press the Power key 5 times or more.
2. A 5 second countdown begins before emergency actions are started. If you triggered
Emergency SOS by mistake, you can cancel the emergency actions during the
countdown.
3. After the 5 second countdown, emergency actions are started and your call is placed to
emergency services.

Emergency Location Service

When the Emergency Location Service (ELS) feature is activated, your device will automatically
send your location to emergency responders when you call or text an emergency number.
1. From the Safety & emergency screen, tap Emergency Location Service.
2. Tap the USE Emergency Location Service on/off icon to turn it on or off.

Silence notifications while driving

This feature automatically detects when you're at the wheel and prevents any notifications from
distracting you by turning on Do Not Disturb feature.
