Phone Call Options

In-call Options

Pressing Options (left softkey) during a call displays a list of available in-call features. To
select an option, highlight the option and press
● Add call to initiate a conference call.
● Go to Bluetooth settings to open the Bluetooth settings screen (if applicable).
● Use Bluetooth device to switch the call to a Bluetooth device (if applicable).
Further options may also be available:
► Press Mute/Unmute (right softkey) to mute/unmute the microphone.
► Press Hold (left softkey) to hold the current call.
► Press the volume button up or down to adjust the receiver volume.
► Press
or the external speaker key to turn the speaker on. Press again to turn it
off.
Warning:
Because of higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear during
speakerphone use.

Call Waiting

When you're on a call, Call Waiting alerts you to incoming calls by sounding a beep. Your
phone's screen informs you that another call is coming in and displays the caller's phone
number (if available). See
To enable Call waiting:
1. From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Settings > Device > Call
setup > Call waiting.
2. Select Activate.

To respond to an incoming call while you are on a call:
► Press Hold (right softkey). (This puts the first caller on hold and answers the second
call.)
