● Outgoing settings: Adjust the outgoing email parameters such as username,
password, and other outgoing connection parameters (ex: SMTP server).
Note: While highlighting an account, you can remove it by pressing Remove (right
softkey). To add a new email account, press Add (left softkey).

Text and Multimedia Messaging

Messaging allows you to stay connected 24 hours a day anywhere on the network. With
your phone, you can use two types of messaging, text messaging (SMS) and multimedia
messaging (MMS). With text messaging, you can send and receive instant text messages
between your phone and another messaging-ready phone. Multimedia messages may
consist of text, images, audio or voice recordings, or any combination of these.

Compose Messages

1. From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Messaging.
2. Select Create new message.
3. Highlight the To field and press
4. Fill in one or more recipients from the following options:
Go to Contacts to select recipients from your Contacts. (Qualifying Contacts
entries must contain a phone number or an email address.) Press Done (left
softkey) after finishing the selection from the contacts list, and when you have
finished entering all recipients, press Done (right softkey) to proceed.
You can enter phone numbers or email addresses directly. Press Add (left
softkey) after finishing entering a recipient, and when you have finished entering
all recipients, press Done (right softkey) to proceed.
5. Highlight the Type message field, press
message.
6. To add an attachment, press Options (left softkey) > Attach and select from the
following file attachments:
Pictures: Select a stored picture to attach.
Capture picture: Take a picture to attach.
Videos: Select a stored video to attach.
Capture video: Record a video to attach.
