Remove the ten Phillips PM2.5×6.5 screws (2) that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.

Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×2.0 broad head screws (1) in the optical drive bay that secure
the top cover to the base enclosure.
6.
Remove the four Phillips PM2.0×2.0 broad head screws (2) in the hard drive bay that secure the
top cover to the base enclosure.
