Pump Removal

1.
Clean the pump of any dirt and debris that may be
around the hoses to prevent dirt from entering the
hydraulic system (Figure 61).

Remove the control rod from the trunion lever
(Figure 62).

Place a drain pan below the pump and remove the
supply and return hoses from the pump.

Mark the location of the wheel motor supply hoses
as to which fitting they go on the wheel motor.
Remove the hose fittings to the pump and install
caps to keep dirt out.

5.
Using a suitable pry bar, release the spring
tension on the idler pulley and remove the drive
belt from the pump pulley (Figure 64).

6.
Remove the 2 nuts and bolts securing the pump to
the chassis and remove the pump.
7.
Reverse steps 2 - 6 to install.

Adjusting the Hydraulic Pump Neutral

Note: Adjust handle neutral first. That has to be
correct before the following adjustment can be made.
