• Make sure all clamps and locks are firmIy tightened
before drilling.
• Securely lock head and table support to column, and
table to table support before operating drill press.
• Never turn your drill press on before clearing the table
of all objects (tools, scraps of wood, etc.) except for the
workpiece and related feed or support devices for the
operation planned.
• Before starting the operation, jog the motor switch to
make sure the drill bit or other cutting tool does not
wobble or cause vibration.
• Let the spindle reach full speed before starting drill.
If your drill press makes an unfamiliar noise or if it
vibrates excessively, stop immediately, turn the drill
press off and unplug. Do not restart until finding and
correcting the problem.
• Do not perform layout assembly or set up work on the
table while the drill press is in operation.
• When drilling large diameter holes, clamp the work-
piece firmIy to the table. Otherwise, the cutter may grab
and spin at high speed. Do not use fly cutters or multi-
part hole cutters as they can come apart ar become un-
balanced in use. Keep speed below 1400 r.p.m.
• Make sure the spindle has come to a complete stop
before changing workpiece angle, removing or secur-
ing workpiece.
• To avoid injury from accidental starting, always unplug
drill press before installing or removing any drill bit, ac-
cessory or attachment or making any adjustment.

ity for any resulting damages.
• The machine may only be used with original accessories
and tools made by the manufacturer.
• Any other use exceeds authorization. The manufacturer
is not responsible for any damages resulting from un-
authorized use; risk is the sole responsibility of the
operator.

the work piece is rotating. Wear personal protective gear

• Wood chips and saw dust can be health hazard. Be sure
to wear personal protective gear such as safety goggles
and a dust mask. Use a vacuum exhaust system.
• Thrown work pieces can lead to injury if the work piece
is not properly secured or fed, such as working without
a limit stop.
• The use of incorrect or damaged mains cables can lead
to injuries caused by electricity.
• Even when all safety measures are taken, some re-
maining hazards which are not yet evident may still
be present.
• Remaining hazards can be minimised by following the
instructions in „safety precautions", „proper use" and
in the entire operating manual.

wArning: if any parts are missing, do not attempt to assembly
the drill press, plug in the power cord, and turn the switchon
until the missing parts are obtained and correctly installed.
Separate all parts from packaging material and check each
item ‚th the falling tables af „standard contents" (Same
parts are packed inside of the pulley cover).
Do not discard the packaging immediately, in case you
have to send this product back to your dealer.

Operating manual
Remove the oil protective surface from the table using
proper household fat or equivalent.
Attention:
To prevent fire or intoxication NEVER use fuel, petrol or
similar lightly inflamable material.
Protect table. column and machine surface from rust
using a wax film. Thoroughly clean all parts with a dry
clean cloth
