Memory
DIMM installation guidelines:
1. All DIMMs must be DDR3 registered memory modules (R-DIMMs)
2. All four DIMM slots in a memory bank must be populated. For each CPU, the memory blanks are designated as follows:
first bank consists of pairs A and B, second bank consists of pairs C and D and the third bank consists of pairs E and F.
3. Banks must be populated in sequential Alphabetic order, starting with bank A and B for CPU0, followed by banks A and B
for CPU1, etc.
4. All four DIMMs in a memory bank must be identical. Install identical DIMMs in quads, starting with DIMM pairs A and B
CPU0.
5. DIMMs must be installed in decreasing capacity with the largest DIMMs installed in the smallest numbered DIMM slot.

NOTE: Must be installed in quads. Therefore, memory modules must be ordered
two (2) at a time, to reach quads (4) to be installed.
NOTE: DIMMs must be installed in decreasing capacity with the largest DIMMs
smallest numbered slot.
