3. Screw the filter on by hand until the gasket contacts
the filter adapter, then tighten 1/2 to 3/4 turn further.
Do not overtighten.
4. Add oil to the crankcase; refer to Checking the Engine
Oil (page 22).
5. Dispose of the used oil properly.

Service Interval: Every 800 hours
1. Close the fuel shut off valve (Figure 44) below the fuel
tank.

2. Clean the area where the filter canister mounts (Figure
45).
3. Place a drain pan under the fuel filter.
4. Open the filter drain plug (Figure 45).
