Windlass (If Equipped)

PRODUCT DAMAGE HAZARD!
• DO NOT pull the boat to the anchor using the windlass or continue to operate the windlass if
it has stalled or is overloaded.
• Read and follow the manufacturer's instruction manual supplied in your boat's owner's packet before using the
anchor windlass for the first time.
• The windlass can be controlled from a switch at the helm or from the deck foot switches.
• Make sure that the windlass breaker is turned On before using the anchor windlass.
• To haul the anchor, use engine power (not the windlass) to move the boat to, and directly above, the anchor. Use
the windlass to dislodge the anchor from the bottom by pulling it straight up.

Cleats and Tow Eyes

PERSONAL INJURY and /or PRODUCT or PROPERTY DAMAGE HAZARD!
• NEVER lift the boat using the bow and stern eyes or the cleats.
Carefully read the section on towing in the Cruiser & Yacht Owner's Manual before towing anything behind the boat
or having the boat towed by another vessel.
