2.5.2 Configuring Traffic Shaping on an Interface

Context
To perform traffic shaping for all the downstream packets on an interface, perform this
procedure.
Do as follows on the S9300 where traffic shaping needs to be configured.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
qos lr cir cir-value [ cbs cbs-value ]
[ outbound ]
The rate for traffic shaping on an interface is set.

Assigning IP addresses to the interfaces and configuring routing protocols to ensure that
routes are reachable
