Tagging Images as Favorites

You can organize images by tagging them as favorites. By choosing a
category in filtered playback, you can restrict the following operations to
all of those images.
"Viewing" ( = 63), "Viewing Slideshows" ( = 71), "Erasing Images"

( = 72), "Adding Images to a Photobook" ( = 119)
Using the Menu

Touch [ ] and choose [ ] in the
menu.
●
To untag the image, repeat this process
and choose [ ] again.

Choose [Favorites].
●
Touch [ ] and then [ ], and
then choose [Favorites] on the [ ] tab
( = 28).

Choose an image.
●
Choose an image after dragging left
or right to browse. Once you touch the
screen, [ ] is displayed.
●
To untag the image, touch the screen
again. [ ] is no longer displayed.
●
Repeat this process to choose additional
images.
● Touch [OK]. A confirmation message is
displayed.

Finish the setup process.
●
Touch [OK].
●
Images will not be tagged as favorites if you switch to Shooting
mode or turn the camera off before finishing the setup process in
step 3.
●
Favorite images will have a three-star rating (
when transferred to computers running Windows 8 or Windows 7.
(Does not apply to movies.)
●
Images can also be tagged as favorites by using Touch Actions
( = 76).
