Pushing the Machine by Hand

If the machine breaks, runs out of fuel, etc. you may need to
push it. To do so, you first need to open the hydraulic by-pass
valves.
Important: Always push the machine by hand. Never
tow the machine because hydraulic damage may occur.
Pushing the Machine
1. Disengage the power take off (PTO) and turn the
ignition key to off. Move the levers to the neutral
locked position and apply the parking brake. Remove
the key.
2. Lift the seat.
3. Rotate each by-pass valve counterclockwise 1 turn
(Figure 36).
This allows hydraulic fluid to by-pass the pump
enabling the wheels to turn .
Important: Do not rotate the by-pass valves more
than 1 turn. This prevents valves from coming out
of the body and causing fluid to run out.
