attempt to pass between objects that are close together so

Transporting the Machine

Make sure the cutting units are in the full up position. Move
the functional control lever to the transport position. Use
the brakes to slow the machine while going down steep
hills to avoid loss of control. Always approach rough areas
at a reduced speed and cross severe undulations carefully.

Cleaning and Inspecting the
Machine
At the completion of the mowing operation, thoroughly
wash the machine with a garden hose without a nozzle so
excessive water pressure will not cause contamination and
damage to the seals and bearings. After cleaning, inspect the
machine for possible hydraulic fluid leaks, damage or wear
to hydraulic and mechanical components, and the cutting
units for sharpness. Also, lubricate the mow and lift pedal
and brake shaft assembly with SAE 30 oil or spray lubricant
to deter corrosion and help keep the machine performing
satisfactorily during the next mowing operation.

Towing the Traction Unit

In case of an emergency the machine can be towed for a short
distance (less than 0.4 km (1/4 mile)). However, Toro does
not recommend this as standard procedure.
Important: Do not tow the machine faster than 3-5
km/h (2-3 mph) because the drive system may be
damaged. If the machine must be moved a considerable
distance, transport it on a truck or trailer.
