Service Interval: Every 50 hours/Monthly (whichever
comes first)—Check the tire pressure
Check the pressure at the valve stem
Maintain the air pressure in the rear tires at 12-14 psi (83-97
kPa). Uneven tire pressure can cause an uneven cut.
Note: The front tires are semi-pneumatic tires and do not
require air pressure maintenance.

Replacing the
Caster-Wheel-Fork Bushings
The caster wheel forks are mounted in bushings pressed into
the top and bottom of the carrier frame mounting pivot
tubes. To check the bushings, move the caster forks back and
forth and side-to-side. If a caster fork is loose, the bushings
are worn and must be replaced.
1. Raise the cutting unit so that the caster wheels are off
of the floor, then support the front of the mower with
jack stands.
2. Remove the locking pin and spacer(s) from the top of
the caster wheel fork

leaving the spacer(s) on the bottom of the fork.
Remember the location of the spacers on each fork to
ensure correct installation, and to maintain a level deck.
4. Insert a pin punch into the mounting tube and carefully
drive out the bushings
the mounting tube.
