3.2 Setting the lawn mower up
1. Open the straps and lift the upper part of the carton (Fig. 2).
2. Take out the components and put them down (Fig. 2).
3. Check completeness of contents.
Contents: (1) mower with handle (divided into two with
AutoMatic Drive), (2) rack for grass collecting bag, (3) grass
collecting bag, (4) grass guiding profile, (5) recycler plug,
(6) user's manual (fig. 2).
4. Dispose packaging according to the local regulations.

3.3 Mounting the handlebar
1. Assemble upper and lower handle (only AutoMatic Drive).
Watch out, that upwards bent portion of the lower handls
points upward (fig.3)
2. Slacken knobs at the lateral mower rear and turn handle
receptacle until openings point up (fig. 3).
3. Insert handle into receptacle up to the limit, cables must run
outside along the handle.
Do not bend, squeeze or damage cable.
4. Swing handle back until receptacles snap into housing, then
tighten knobs by hand.
If you should not succeed in reassembling the
handle as described above, insert handle only
somewhat, swing back, tighten knobs so that the
receptacles snap into the housing. In this working
position, push mower with the front wheels against an
obstacle, push against handle, push in up to the limit
stop, and tighten knobs by hand (fig. 4).
5. Attach starter rope to the eye bolt at the handle (fig.
5).
6. Attach cable with velcro fasteners or cable binders to the
handle (fig. 6).
