Exchanging the spark plug
Stop the motor, wait until the blade stands still and
remove the spark plug connector, when working on
the mower. Danger of injury!
Persons with cardiac pacemakers may not work on
the running motor and on live parts of the ignition
system when the motor is started. It must be ensured
that the motor is at standstiill. Only then may the spark
plug connector be pulled off.
1. Pull spark plug connector off the spark plug (Fig. 33).
2. Clean area around the spark plug
3. Unscrew spark plug
Replace spark plug by an equivalent spark plug if it is
broken, of bad quality or dirty.
Recommended: Champion RJ 19 LM or equivalent
Adjust electrode gap to 0.75 mm (Fig. 34).
Insert spark plug with packing and tighten.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm

If a torque wrench is not available, screw spark plug tight.
