IMPORTANT NOTES

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be followed:
1. This appliance is for internal & household use only.
2. The kettle is for heating water only and is not to be used for any other liquids.
3. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is in use. Keep the appliance away from
children.
4. To protect against the risk of electric shock, fire or personal injury, do not immerse the appli-
ance in water or any other liquid.
5. Insert the plug into the socket after checking that the voltage is the same as indicated on the
technical data and technical rating plate of the appliance.
6. Never pull the cable to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, unplug by pulling the plug from
the socket.
7. Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning.
8. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use only the handle.
9. The kettle should only be used with the base provided.
10. Never fill water over the MAX level or below the MIN level.
11. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may overflow.
12. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or has been damaged in any man-
ner. In such case you must contact any Singer Service Center or Singer Client Service.
13. The appliance must not be left unattended while connected to the supply mains.
14. The appliance must be used and rested on a stable surface.
15. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
16. Do not place the appliance near any gas outlets, electric burner or heated oven.
17. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.
18. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made by unqualified
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled
& keep for future reference.
