First Use / Initial Cleaning If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should follow the following steps prior to use: 1. Before first use check that the appliance has not been damaged during transit. 2.
Operating Instructions 1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing the lid opening button, fill with the required amount of water, and then close the ld. The water level should not exceed the 1.7L mark or fall below 0.5L level. Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
