1. Power Inlet
Before making any connection, check that the mains voltage setting printed on the rear panel
is the same as your local mains supply. Plug the female (socket) end of the power cord into the
power inlet on the rear of the amplifier. Plug the male (plug) end of the cord into a "live" wall
socket or a suitable extension cable.
2. Power Switch
Do not switch the power ON until all rear panel connections have been made and the
operating mode selected (see below). When the power switch is in the OFF position all power is
disconnected from the amplifier. When the power switch is in the ON position, the amplifier will
power up in standby mode.
3. Mode Switch
The mode switch sets up the means by which the NetPower may be switched into or out of
standby.
Music Sense Mode
When MUSIC SENSE mode is selected the NetPower will switch automatically out of standby when
an audio signal is present at the Line Input. If there is no audio signal for a continuous period of 20
minutes, the NetPower will automatically switch back into standby.
Alternatively the NetPower may be switched into or out of standby manually using the front panel
Standby button.
