Physically mount the S8Mpdp switch near the power and network connections (i.e. backbone switch, firewall/router or behind a TV) 2. Connect the S8Mpdp to a power source 3. Connect your computer to any of the available ports on the S8Mpdp.

QoS Configuration The S8Mpdp is preconfigured with QoS out of the box but you can alter the QoS configuration to the needs of your network. To adjust the QoS settings you will need to log into the GUI using the steps mentioned earlier.

The switch uses four classes of high, med, normal, and low for the port priorities.
