Configuration using the Room Controller or
the infrared remote control
Upon request, the unit can be equipped with an infrared remote
controller or with a wired "Room Controller" (CRC).
System configuration can be done either via the "System Manager"
or via the controls "Room Controller" or infrared remote control if
mounted.
With the Room Controller or infrared remote control the following
parameters can be selected:
• Unit type (Hi-Wall).
• Window Contact (normally open / normally closed).
• Boost / Heating function (only for heaters)
(not available).
• 2 pipe / 4 pipe operation
(4 pipe not available).
• °C (Celsius), °F (Fahrenheit) temperature selection (for CRC only).
• Air sensor on CRC (ON)
• Air sensor on Fan Coil (OFF) (for CRC only).
Note:
To select these parameters, refer to the "Room Controller" or
infrared remote controller manual.
Window Contact
If the window contact is open for longer than one minute
the unit is enabled for "Frost protect" operation. The unit returns to
normal operation when the window contact is closed.
The window contact can be configured as follows:
NO Configuration (normally open) using the CRC or the infrared
remote control or System Manager.
Contact closed - indicates window open (frost protect operation).
Contact open - indicates window closed (normal operation).

NC Configuration (normally closed) using the CRC or the infrared
remote control or System Manager.
Contact closed - indicates window closed (normal operation).
Contact open - indicates window open (Frost protect operation).

System self-diagnosis
The control has diagnostics which automatically check system
integrity.
If a fault is found, the system is blocked and all functions are
disabled.
In this case, the LED on the HY-NEC board flashes (0.5 sec. ON,
0.5 sec. OFF), until the alarm condition is eliminated.
The monitoring system can be used to interpret the type of fault
according to the following table.
