The RF block diagram for RM-92 uses RF ASIC N7500 as illustrated by the red border in the block diagram. It
can be seen that the module contains RF ASIC N7505 and all the baluns and filters, except GSM TX filters and
the WCDMA balun. This implementation is used for WCDMA 2100.

The RF block diagram for RM-91 uses RF ASIC N7505 that performs the RF back-end functions of receive and
transmit function of the cellular transceiver. This implementation is used for WCDMA 1900.

Frequency plan

Both, the receiver and the transmitter, are based on direct conversion architecture. The VCOs operate at the
channel frequency multiplied by two or four depending on the band of operation. This means that the
modulated baseband signals are directly converted up to the transmission frequency and the received RF
signals directly down to the baseband frequency.
